With regards to your animation, I'd love to have a look. In fact if my business does get off the ground, I might be able to help you out, as it is essentially a network of talented animators who are willing to defer being paid until the animation gets sold or licensed.
Thanks Paul. Yes there's no doubting that 3D takes a lot time and effort - not that 2D animation is quick and easy ;-)
As far as work goes, I'm literally just starting out. I did a short series of animations for BBC NI last year and there are 3 or 4 projects, from various places, that may or may not come to anything next year.
For the next few months I'll see if there's any demand for the 3D/visual effects that I love to do, or whether I'll have to give it all up and just remain a graphic designer.
