Thanks again Paul. The black art of funding is something I've been avoiding, but I think I'll definitely look into it in more detail soon.

Brendan McGoran has been organising some great events and the Creative Collaborations in Feb, looks like a great opportunity to meet potential buyers.

With regards to your animation, I'd love to have a look. In fact if my business does get off the ground, I might be able to help you out, as it is essentially a network of talented animators who are willing to defer being paid until the animation gets sold or licensed.

Anyway, keep in touch.

Best wishes

Darren

Thanks Paul. Yes there's no doubting that 3D takes a lot time and effort - not that 2D animation is quick and easy ;-)

As far as work goes, I'm literally just starting out. I did a short series of animations for BBC NI last year and there are 3 or 4 projects, from various places, that may or may not come to anything next year.

For the next few months I'll see if there's any demand for the 3D/visual effects that I love to do, or whether I'll have to give it all up and just remain a graphic designer.

Best wishes

Darren
